Planning to visit Milan? Of course, you must try all the delicious foods they offer! But Milan is not only Pizza and Pasta, there are lots of wonderful vegan and vegetarian options which will blow your mind! Here are two of my favorites.
Soulgreen was the first restaurant I’ve visited during my trip to Milano. The restaurant itself looked amazing already. There were plants and flowers everywhere and a beautiful interior – absolutely Instagram-worthy!
We had the plan to take a drink first before looking at the menu. So we ordered two Gin based drinks. The drink list and the menu were displayed on tablets – so modern, so zero waste.
As we have received our drinks we were shocked because it came with a huge plate of different foods. It is very common in Italy to have snacks or access to a buffet when ordering drinks but this plate was a dinner! And a super delicious one as well.
The drinks were amazing, the truffle cashews my favorite, the risotto fresh and perfectly cooked, the vegetables crunchy and the dip super yummie. So sad that I couldn’t try their menu because I was more than full after this plate of snacks! Definitely try Soulgreen out! And if you’re not that hungry, order some drinks and enjoy the plate which comes with them.
The Botanical Club
Right in front of the MUDEC Museum is the Botanical Club. A restaurant with lots of fresh and vegan foods! Besides the vegan options, the place is really beautiful and the inside of the restaurant is definitely Instagram-Worthy as well. We have ordered the botanical and the oriental salad. Both were very fresh, light and delicious.
I would recommend having a salad at the Botanical Garden if you just want to have a little and light lunch. The portions weren’t really big but perfect for the sunny and hot day then!
The Botanical Club offers vegan brunches as well which sounded amazing. Unfortunately, we haven’t got the time to try it out.
